Thank you for your interest in the Brown's Urology Residency Program. Our program participates in the American Urological Association Match. All applications must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
We use a variety of factors to make our rank list. A group of faculty and residents together review applications with particular focus on:
- academic performance in medical school and the USMLE Step 1 score
- extracurricular (medical and non-medical) activities
- research endeavors

Interview Dates: Saturday, December 4, 2021 and Wednesday, December 8, 2021
Our interviews will be held virtually again this year, the night before interviews the residents host a "Welcome Reception" via Zoom. Here you will be to hang out with the residents, ask questions about the program, what is life like as a resident and play a trivia game with them.
An email will be sent to you prior to your interview date with the Zoom weblink and password. We typically hold two interview days every year, each day is split into two groups- a morning and an afternoon group. As much as the day is for us to interview you, we hope that you will get a good sense for our program, residents, and facilities as well.
Each interview sessions will start with an introduction PowerPoint presentation, followed roughly by a 15-20 minute interview with faculty and residents. There will be breakout sessions with our residents during your down time.
